Groovi

Terms of Use

Last updated October 9, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Groovi, operated by Matthew Sani ("Groovi", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using Groovi, you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy.

Who can use Groovi

You must be at least 13 years old. If you're under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission. You need a phone number you control to sign in, and you may only have one account.

Your account and invites

Groovi is currently invite-only. Invite codes are single-use and for people you know; don't sell or post them publicly. Keep your phone secure, since anyone who can receive your codes can sign in as you. You're responsible for what happens on your account.

Your content

You own what you post: your rankings, verdicts, songs, photos, videos and comments. By posting, you give Groovi a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display and share that content within Groovi, according to your privacy settings, so the app can work. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies in backups for a short time.

Only post content you have the right to share. Your account is public by default; you can make it private in Settings.

Community rules (zero tolerance)

Groovi has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Don't post or do any of the following:

Reporting and enforcement

You can report any account, comment, photo or video, and you can block anyone. We review reports within 24 hours and act on content that breaks these rules, including removing it and suspending or banning the account that posted it. We may also remove content or accounts on our own when we believe they break these terms.

Using Groovi fairly

Don't misuse Groovi: no scraping or automated collection, no bots, no attempts to get around security, rate limits or access rules, no reverse engineering, and no abusing sign-in codes or invites.

Artists and venues

Artist and venue names are used only to identify the sets you've seen. Groovi isn't affiliated with or endorsed by any artist, venue, festival or promoter. Rankings and verdicts are members' personal opinions.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or to protect Groovi or its members.

Disclaimers

Groovi is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don't guarantee the app will always be available, error-free or secure, and we aren't responsible for content posted by members.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Groovi won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of Groovi. Our total liability for any claim is limited to $100.

Apple

If you downloaded Groovi from the App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. These terms are between you and Groovi, not Apple; Apple isn't responsible for Groovi or its content and has no obligation to provide support for it.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; we'll change the date at the top and tell you in the app about important changes. Continuing to use Groovi means you accept the updated terms. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
